This is why people hate analytics folks. Just looking at raw numbers with zero context and straight hindsight.

The ravens core got dismantled after their sb run by free agency and retirements. (ed reed and ray lewis retired, rice was pushed out, ngata left for Detroit etc) Then there were the years of Flacco's regression.

They've only just now rebuilt yall make winning a sb sound so easy like every other head coach sitting on 5+. Chill. They doing their thing

OP is the opposite of an "analytics folks" post.

If you want to hate on Harbaugh that's OK but blaming it on his 4th down decisions is ass and reactionary because you wouldn't be saying that had they converted.

Ravens were doing this all year, led the league in 4th down conversion rate and 4th downs converted. They also converted every 4th and 1 in the regular season. Obviously it's dangerous because if it backfires, you could surrender field position/points...but on average they were converting enough of them to make up for that risk.

You could argue that Harbaugh should have been more conservative and not done shyt like that, but playing conservative isn't a magic recipe to win in the playoffs either.

The narrative about Harbaugh and Sean Payton will be justified a bit but they still are only two of six current coaches who have rings so that’s gotta count for something.
True but people have dragged Mcarthy all the time for wasting Rodgers in GB but constantly gives Harbaugh and Payton a pass

The whole Harbaugh family living off some accomplishments that kinda almost sorta happened (or didn't happen)...only reason a Harbaugh won a ring is b/c he was coaching against another Harbaugh so one of them had to win...they couldn't both lose

I figured it out. I was trying to work out why you've been going so hard in the Ravens direction and it's because the Ravens are the other team besides the Giants that's been low key giving Bill and the Pats that work.

Ok. It makes sense now. Carry on.

I don't agree that Harbaugh is overrated but I do question his play calling at times. If you watched us for the last few years, you would have realized we really weren't that good of a team. This season was an anomaly. I don't think anyone saw more than possibly winning the AFCN once the season started. Heck many people forget thst prior to us making the playoffs last year, it was rumored that he was going to be out of a job.
