Unpopular opinion, but yes, his seat should be hot heading into next year. 10 wins/year is great, he's a really good coach, but sometimes you've maxed your potential out with your team. They've been Final Four just once in the last 11 years. Lost twice as many playoff games as won. And the team meltdown on Sunday is borderline inexcusable, how the fukk was your team so sloppy and immature? What the fukk was up with that offensive game plan?

Anything short of a Super Bowl berth next year, should make a strong consideration on whether he returns, and you have to consider if he just isn't The Guy to get the most from Lamar and company!

They regress next season & he is toast. The SB ring is exactly why he has gotten the benefit of the doubt. Ben Johnson could be the perfect innovative mind at HC to take Lamar to the next level. He would absolutely leave Detroit for the opportunity to coach the Ravens & Lamar.

Talent wise they won’t regress,we should actually be better considering most of our core players are under 25

and I wouldn’t say we got lucky with injuries this year besides keeping Lamar healthy

We still had a shytload of injuries this season

JK Dobbins torn achilles
Keaton Mitch torn acl
Marlon missed half the season with a calf and was never healthy
Stanley played injured all year
Ojabo tore his acl
Andrews broke his leg
Marcus Williams tore his pec
Odell was hurt all year
Bowser missed the whole year
Pepe Williams missed the whole year

The injuries just didn’t hurt us this year because we had so much depth

Most of our backups now have 15-20 starts under their belts from all the injuries the past 5 years
