I figured it out. I was trying to work out why you've been going so hard in the Ravens direction and it's because the Ravens are the other team besides the Giants that's been low key giving Bill and the Pats that work.

Ok. It makes sense now. Carry on.

Wait. This isn't it. Bill has beaten them more......is this what happens to fans when they hear the death knell of their dynasty? You know the end is coming, don't you??

True but people have dragged Mcarthy all the time for wasting Rodgers in GB but constantly gives Harbaugh and Payton a pass
McCarthy had Rodgers for over a decade

Harbaugh has had Lamar for a season and a half

lets pump the brakes on this

He got a superbowl out of Flacco and would’ve gotten 2 had Lee Evans held on to the ball in 2011

I don’t even like the fact that im defending Harbs but y’all really jumping the gun with these narratives

this is the first year under Harbaugh that they really underachieved and truthfully Greg Roman and Lamar deserve more blame for the L than Harbaugh

Do Mike Tomlin next
Ok sure I'll do it I guess:

2009: Missed playoffs with basically the same team that won the SB the year before
2010: Lost Super Bowl
2011: Lost in Wild Card round to TIM TEBOW
2012: Missed playoffs
2013: Missed playoffs
2014: Lost Wild Card round
2015: Lost Divisional round; should have lost WC round to Marvin Lewis/AJ McCarron, but they melted down with personal fouls and turnovers late
2016: Lost AFC CG to Patriots in embarrassing, non-competitive fashion, playing the exact same way that got them slaughtered by Belichick countless times before
2017: Lost Divisional round by giving up 45 points to BLAKE BORTLES; gave interviews about playing the Patriots pretending like the Jags didn't exist
2018: Missed playoffs
2019: Missed playoffs
  • 5 years missing the playoffs including the last 2
  • One & done 3x
  • 5-6 in the playoffs, including losses to Bortles, Tebow, and what should have been AJ McCarron
  • Endless player drama
  • Sat in the drivers seat for a playoff spot this year sitting pretty at 8-5, then promptly collapsed pissing it all away to finish 8-8
But hey, no losing seasons!

Last decade the Ravens made the AFC title game or were one game short like 4 times :hhh:

easily the most successful AFC team of the past decade next to that fakkit squad you root for

I dont even like the Ravens but mans rebuilt a team in two years, with a new GM and franchise QB to boot. This is some hater shyt.

SMF and LAX to VA and NC
In the last 11 seasons (2013-23):

•.592 win percentage---->106-73, which is 10.1 wins per17
•3-6 playoffs (.333), including 0-1 AFC Championship
•5x missed playoffs in 11 years, almost half the time he's not even in The Tournament
•lifetime 1-3 AFCCG record
•3x one and done in the playoffs

Unpopular opinion, but yes, his seat should be hot heading into next year. 10 wins/year is great, he's a really good coach, but sometimes you've maxed your potential out with your team. They've been Final Four just once in the last 11 years. Lost twice as many playoff games as won. And the team meltdown on Sunday is borderline inexcusable, how the fukk was your team so sloppy and immature? What the fukk was up with that offensive game plan?

Anything short of a Super Bowl berth next year, should make a strong consideration on whether he returns, and you have to consider if he just isn't The Guy to get the most from Lamar and company!

This is why people hate analytics folks. Just looking at raw numbers with zero context and straight hindsight.

The ravens core got dismantled after their sb run by free agency and retirements. (ed reed and ray lewis retired, rice was pushed out, ngata left for Detroit etc) Then there were the years of Flacco's regression.

They've only just now rebuilt yall make winning a sb sound so easy like every other head coach sitting on 5+. Chill. They doing their thing

Whats the excuse now? Had the MVP of the league with probably the best defense. They were as healthy as they’ve ever been.
