Has Bernie built a big enough coalition to form a viable 3rd party?

Yeah, Warren supporters seem to be taking her L rather well. I guess that's what you call an enthusiasm gap.
We moved on. Liz keeps us up to date her plans and what's she doing.

It's not a struggle because we see her still pushing forward with her agenda as a senator.

I think Bernie is too, but y'all thought you were going to hijack the country and force people to accept your views.

Might have worked if y'all could have been bothered to vote. :umad:

Not sober enough to intellectually put my thoughts together at the moment, but the biggest obstacle right now is the lack of a true progressive voice/leader to officially form a progressive "party". We have AOC but she's not appealing enough to rally left leaning moderates
That sucks because she's pretty popular. She needs to edit her message a little but she has potential.

At believing 15% of VAP is going to vote for Bernie in a 3rd party when he couldn't even get 15% turnout of his targeted demographic in the primary.

Click your heels 3 times. Some of Y'all are in a fantasy world.

that has been one of the harshest realities for his stans. they beat us over the head talmbout how his policies would be appreciated by dems and repubs alike, making him the ultimate candidate.

but then he goes out and loses the people that are supposed to like him the most, for the second time.

We complain about Democrats being Republican lite, when the reality is that the country is far more to the right than we think. Maybe progressives are the exception to the general mentality of the U.S.
step one is realizing that, thats good
step two is moving forward with that knowledge and acting accordingly, not ignoring it like they did again this time

Yeah, that's what I said, rather easily in fact. The rest of your post seems to be trying to justify why. :yeshrug:
Nobody asked, we talking about something else in here. :camby:

She does, but she's too young and doesn't have the coalition building skills yet.

Bernie forming a 3rd party with AOC and their followers would effectively ensure the Republicans run the country:skip:

And I'm sure Hillary will then call them Republican moles :pachaha:

nah it would kill their political careers, the numbers just dont show the support for that type of move.

People really just want to bush trump, people on twitter dotn represent even 1% of the electorate.

The country doesn’t move to the left or right without money, violence and or people. The police-state has made it harder to organize, but that’s the only way to enact change for progressives. That’s the way progressive ideas get into politics.

With the winner-takes-all format of our electoral system, progressive ideas can’t win without mass movement. Because the police-state has made it hard and many think “we’ve made it,” we think electoral politics is the way. It’s not. Elected officials are reactionary. So it’s time to make them react.

A progressive political party would be a terrible idea.
