I think Jimmy gets the overall edge because of the Diplomats impact.

Jimmy ain’t got one hit bigger than Pusha McDonald’s jingle.

We Fly High, was and still is, more popular than any Push song

Yeah, that song was big. But he fizzled out right after. I said Jim has a slight edge over Pusha T. I don’t think it’s by much though. As far as bar for bar Pusha is several levels better (there’s no debating that).

That McDonalds jingle wasn’t said in seriousness. Just highlighting Pusha said he created that “I’m loving it”

:snoop: Pusha has a classic album with clipse and lord willin is complete flames too and he actually has good solo albums. This discussion shouldn’t even exist it’s retarded lol. Besides we fly high I don’t think I fukk with any jim jones song and never have I heard anyone in real time ever thinking jim jones was a great rapper with great music. His albums all have those cheap Koch beats. The guys the definition of mid Lol

I know people aren’t comparing being friends with Pharell/Kanye to camron :dead:

Nobody said that.

The point is it doesn't make sense to hold Pusha T's affiliations against him ( in terms of his career) when Jim Jones would be working at Costco without Cam'ron.

Pusha T was just able to politic better than Jim, it is what it is. :yeshrug:

Yes. I don’t even think Pusha is that much better of a rapper than Jim is. I just think Pusha’s career has been curated better than most due to his affiliations. Without the Pharell and Kanye production and connections Push is Benny the Butcher status. For example just being able to premier a diss record at a Louie Vuitton show in Paris is next level. Push didn’t obtain that opportunity on his own merit tho, he was afforded that opportunity due to his affiliation with Pharell. No knock it just is what it is.

pusha is a nepo baby :ohhh:

People are absolutely saying that. “Well Jim had camron bro sooo” :heh: There are levels to connections.

If Jim jones would’ve working at Costco without camron what would pusha t be without Kanye/Pharrell?

Dudes entire career was produced by all time super producers and never sold records like that.
