i think lots of his songs beats and lyrics are dope- i just think he needs to audiences to catch up- or for rathets and thots to stop determining what good music is-- If Fetty Wap and Future are hot- then J Cole should stay in his lane eventually the ppll will catch up

but he's already one of the more popular artists in rap today. his sales show that. there's nothing j cole is talking about in his singles thats too complex for the casual rap fan to grasp. doesnt take away from the fact that sonically, for the most part, his music just doesnt do it for me.
