I use to rob cacs in middle school. Ol school "give me ya lunch money" type shyt. Also use to snatch the Sony Walkmans and headphones. Didnt get caught

There was definitely levels to stealin, I've seen the pros and the amateurs. One day walkin home from school we go to a corner store and my older cousin is like "watch this". Walks in grabs a big bucket of candy off a shelf and holds it in his coat and walks out like he was invisible. Another cousin who never stole in his life tried to prove himself to us and got caught stealing earrings his first time.. wit a pocket full of money

I got caught farebreating on the NY Subway. Cop stopped me, asked me why I didn't pay and I told him "because I have no money 
" which was the truth BTW.... cop let me go without a ticket or arrest

It wasn't me and he didn't shoplift but the thread reminds me of this time my cousin got in trouble in Jr. High... muhfukka walked in this Mexican supermarket and started throwing food at people and shyt Thought he was finna make a clean break as he casually strolled out and RIGHT as he got to the doors (Plain clothes security):

I remember getting caught trying to steal 2 Butterfingers from the grocery store, store cop took me to the back and took a picture of me holding the candy bars

In elementary my boy got caught stealing some hair rubber bands from Kroger and his parents beat the shyt out of him in front of me at his house. That was my first clue not to steal anything. Second time my other patna from elementary got caught stealing out of someone’s Mom purse when he was visiting one day. Well, when his Dad found out he had his hand dipped in boiling water quickly. Those two instances set me up for the square no stealing life.

Same thing happened to me over on 125th & Lenox but they took me to jail and it was a Saturday night so I couldn’t see the judge till Monday. I was 15/16 at the time trying to get back downtown so I could catch the Path train to Jersey. That was the first time I got arrested I was shookI got caught farebreating on the NY Subway. My 2nd year of HS there was a class trip to Six Flags for Freshman and Sophomore's, I was kicking it with two kids I knew from PAL Football
Outside the Batman ride there was this tiny gift shop kiosk, these mfs decided out of all things to try and steal some Bugs Bunny shotglasses, all the while there was undercover park security just chilling in the cut
They ain't take but 5 steps out the store when he grabbed them by shoulders and took them to a security post out of eyesight. I didnt have to go with them but 1. I felt bad and 2. I wanted to know what was finna happen
They had to call up they moms to tell them what they did, and were charged $100 each in damages to the park. That ride home from NJ back to NY was the funniest shyt because we knew they were finna get lit UP when we got back

When i was a kid my brother was a habitual thief. He stole because he wanted things, but it was as much compulsive and for the love of the game. He would steal everything he could from anybody he could including my parents and grandparents and myself. I never forgot how heartbroken my grandmother was when she found out he stole from her. She was crying.
