Also never take an offer until you make a counteroffer.

Never take an offer until they have sent you a formal job description...not that bullshyt that was in the advertisement you responded to

Companies love to slip all sorts of extra responsibilities in after.....

Have a discussion with them about it.....the metrics you will be evaluated on etc...

GET WHAT YOU WANT IN WRITING......NONE OF THAT BULLshyt WE CAN DISCUSS THIS LATER NONSENSE

If they ask you about former salary definitely lie about that.............embellish the fukk out of that

In fact I would suggest never giving them that information in the first place but if you get weak and give them a number INFLATE THAT shyt
I never understand why companies even do that when they already have a number to offer in mind. Next time im in that position ima be like nah tell me how much yall offering first :gucci:

fukking this bro!! Im new to a job now been here 5 months yet they have increased my work load so I feel bad for not asking for more straight up.

Without getting an offer first how well do you have to do in the interview to be that bold? So if I see a job that says between 50-65k I should just shoot for the max or go above?

They usually have a range...If you have done your research on the company and your field as a whole you can guage what that general range will/should be

In your interview you should be trying to demonstrate why you should meet or exceed that number based on the value you bring

Again...never give them a number.. if they are interested let them pitch you an offer....and then you negotiate from there

ALSO LET ME STRESS THIS

If their salary position is not overly flexible THEN ASK FOR SOMETHING ELSE.....fukk you think this is bih

ask for a training and continuing education allowance, ask for remote work flexibility, ask for extra vacation time.....in fact make the time to go look for other fukking benefits

Those extra benefits could allow you to have a chance to make income on the side

Ask for 70K.......

Be bold and speak about what you aim to bring to their company....Part of this is doing some very deep research on them.

Come to the interview with 5 things that you would like to implement or suggest they change right away....Even leave them a short pdf or powerpoint on your thoughts

I'm just gonna start to lie on my resume. The fact that I'm having trouble finding jobs at fukking burger king and shyt is just absurd.

It sucks having no experience. They want you to blow up their line because it gives the impression that you "want to work":martin:

I wouldn't be putting in a fukking application if I didn't want to work.

...and it's hard asf for me in the initial interview process because I stutter and it's a chore just to get out a sentence when I'm nervous..
I recommend you use a family member are friend on your resume if you never had a job before. Don't use an actual company.

Example:
Say you cut your grass are a neighbors grass a few times then you worked for GREEN STABLES GARDENING COMPANY...put your father, uncle, cousin someone down who can represent for you. You been working there for a year. Stuff like that for you. (The company is obviously made up, but who cares a family business are whatever).

It took my lil bro a year and a half just to get a job at McDonalds. That's why I recommend you start working at 16. He was like 19 at the time.

I'll like to add NEVER be afraid to ask for the salary you desire. NEVER. I always use to short change myself.

The jewels!!!

I don't know how many times I've gotten on a job and I'm doing extra bs and I gotta tell them I wasn't hired for that. They love to give you extra duties bc they don't want to hire anyone else to actually spread the workload so they'll rather give the few employees they have everything they got. That's why people be burnt out in their careers the first few years.

Well I mean, I'm looking somewhere in the neighborhood of mid 7 figures, but I'm open to negotiation
Lol be realistic. You always want to do the research on the company, and whatever field you desire max salaries.

Example: If McDonald's max is $10 don't go in there asking for $20. It's obvious no one gets even close to $20 not even managers. The highest I'll go for Mickey Ds as a regular worker is $11-12 if they max was $10. But of course it also depends where you live as well.

Lol yeah I know. I'm aiming to start at 6 figures not including benefits. I'm sure I have the skills to command it from one of the big 3 tech companies. I just need to land an interview :mjcry:

Honestly man if you're looking at jobs that small I would lie my ass off. They give you training so :manny: if you apply for target tell em you worked at Wal-Mart etc. Get a homie and list them as a reference just in case. Tell him to make you sound like a good employee not on some super shyt but on time good attitude good ethic and you'll ace that easy.
