Have you been to college or just remembering what you saw on A Different World? :what:

If you have:
10:00 am Calculus
12:30 pm Economics
4:30 pm Computer Science

Please tell me where life experience is a part of the curriculum.

They're paying money to be taught those subjects specifically. Professors aren't going off script in the classroom to talk about life lessons. If they're doing mentoring or meeting with students outside the classroom than that's another story.

Like I said colleges have career counseling and employment offices to specifically help students with transitioning to the workplace. It's not on a Computer Science professor to do that.

If the school doesn't have a dress code then he can't enforce one. He's projecting his own negative images and bias onto his students. It's winter and you can't wear a hoodie :camby:
Naw you trying to hard.

44 bricks...acre shaker
I'm not sure what these are. Some examples of women wearing them would make things clearer. :jbhmm:
coochie cutters also referred to as daisy dukes some ppl call them hoe dandies ...the higher the cut.. the sharper the cutter of the coochie

You know
I can see why the students would be offended. While I understand what the professor was trying to do.. he went about it the wrong way. Why would you assume I’m going to wear the things listed? :mjpls:

A professor can't impose a dress code for his individual class. Plus the syllabus is handed out at the first class. He didn't even see what his students were wearing he just put his own responsibility politics on them. I doubt any females showed up wearing coochie cutters.

I've had 7:30 am classes and people showed up in pajamas with a cup of coffee. No one cared and no one's learning was hindered.
Was this his first class? If not I’m sure he’s seen this before

One thing I’ve noticed about people on social media is they hate black people being authority of other black people

Black owned restaurants having rules even get slandered

I don't have a problem with standards... I have a problem with standards that are only targeting us

Excluding the hoodie and the inappropriate language ....

I could understand a dress code if they were graduate students or in a school of business but these are just Regular undergraduate students, hes doing too much.

There's almost a guarantee these rules are being mandated due to students coming into class looking all kind of ways at what is supposed to be a prestigious educational institution.

Here's pics of some NC A&T students:

You got a young man in a school hoodie and another in a Black Voters Matter hoodie but I guess they look like hoodlums:mjpls:

Y'all must think really low of young black students to think they're walking around campus looking like Pooh Shiesty or there's girls having their ass out. If that was the norm the dean and the higher ups would have addressed it not a lone professor.

I had to check the article again and this was the syllabus just handed out this semester. Girls aren't even wearing shorts in January. This professor is bugging.
