the fact that he came up with the idea and got some hungry people to work on the projects is enough to show he has talent. No one at ESPN was thinking about that. No one period.
Meh....idk fam. To me, 30 for 30 was just a more in depth Sports Century. They are good to great when he has legit filmmakers and documentarians making them. You can tell when he was just throwing shyt at the fan (letting Michael Rapapport direct).

of course. He helped to vet them. That is my point.

And the Knick joint with Rappapport was actually good. I mean Rappapport did that Tribe doc too, so he not that bad.

I do agree the Red Sox one was trash, but that was done through MLB productions.

the show had its moments but overall it was pretty bad. it was a better fit for youtube, not a premium channel like HBO.

you don't get as far as simmons has without being talented but he has to stick to what he's good at and TV is not it. the ringer isn't that good too so idk if he needs to get a new team or get more hands on but something has to change.
