Chandras storyline was very necessary. I was under the impression Freddie saw the DVD of Nas smuggling his own drugs in and it brought reason for him to not let Nas go free...

Stone got that tape from the lazy detective with his research IMO not Freddie...

Without Chandra we would not only be missing out on a dime piece but also the doubt the show gave when he was leaving prison.
The detective didn't know anything about that tape. Stone asked him in the chinese spot

What happened to Chandra
Naz mother suspects he did it
His brother thinks he did too
they didn't wrap up his father story line
Droopy finally realized she was wrong but it was too late
As soon as the abused animal commercial came on i knew the cat was back

I know they didn't have alot of time but it could've ended better

Nas now about that life :mjcry: Tatted up, addicted to drug, and everything. fukked over a bad bytch who he could have been living with. His dad is juiced he's home, but they living in squalor because of that shyt. You see that struggle plate? His mom is scared to tell him the truth. His community all mugging him, and he mugging everyone else with those Riker murder eyes. Great show, great ending. I think they push for a season 2, HBO needs it.

I had a feeling the end of the show and the series would be divisive as like others have mentioned, the primary focus was never on solving a murder but on the transformation of Naz through the justice system and a bum lawyer being able to make a real difference in his job. The beginning of the series stands out as we slowly go through each detail of Naz' journey, from picking up Andrea to winding up in Riker's and trying to survive prison life. Once the show had to settle into the courtroom scenes and Naz went tattoo crazy :skip: it lost some of its pop.

Still, there were a lot of good moments in the finale.

Stone gave a hell of a closing argument and finally decided to keep the cat :ehh:. I haven't seen much of John Turturro's work before, but he impressed me a lot with his performance here :obama:.

Naz' walk as he made his exit from prison was well done, as I thought something would happen to him at every time. Freddie did right by his unicorn, drug addiction aside :whoa:. Plus it seemed like Naz helped him out with a dope connect, before he bounced:manny:.

Chandra better hit up Naz's dad and see if that delivery place is still hiring :mjlol:

Box wasn't ready to retire and got himself a new case to work on taking down the financial advisor. His whole scene with dude in the casino was great. "It's better for you if you say Andrea was your girlfriend." :usure: "You still here, you want me to slap on the handcuffs now, get the fukk out of here :beli::pachaha:"

If the show does return in some form for another season, it should be with an all new case and cast of characters.

This show could've been great...started off on some GOAT shyt but fizzled out with a bunch of unnessecary shyt that made u hate the characters

Like I wasn't even :blessed: when Nas got off...finale had me feeling like
giphy-facebook_s.jpg
...I was just watching the shyt waiting for it to be over lol

Chandra's character decline was :scust:...she was supposed to be this young smart ambitious lawyer but she was kissing her client and smuggling drugs :mindblown: The fucc???

One of the dumbest character transformations, ever. Chandra was such a good character until the last two episodes. It's like the show was rushed with the writing.

How did the BBC series end? Was it like this?

Californ-i-a by way of BK
Finale was good but anti-climatic, since we knew the financial advisor dude did it by the middle of the episode. Realistic and actually a dope plot twist, but could've been more detailed. This was a series finale, so I'm not expecting another season but would welcome one. The show was excellently written and intelligent.

I'm a bit disappointed with how the series turned out, but I think it's due to my expectations from the first couple episodes. It seemed like it was a murder mystery show, which is what I expected so with how the series ended, it feels a bit empty to me. Overall I didn't hate it, just felt like it could have been so much more.
