I had a feeling the end of the show and the series would be divisive as like others have mentioned, the primary focus was never on solving a murder but on the transformation of Naz through the justice system and a bum lawyer being able to make a real difference in his job. The beginning of the series stands out as we slowly go through each detail of Naz' journey, from picking up Andrea to winding up in Riker's and trying to survive prison life. Once the show had to settle into the courtroom scenes and Naz went tattoo crazy

it lost some of its pop.
Still, there were a lot of good moments in the finale.
Stone gave a hell of a closing argument and finally decided to keep the cat

. I haven't seen much of John Turturro's work before, but he impressed me a lot with his performance here

.
Naz' walk as he made his exit from prison was well done, as I thought something would happen to him at every time. Freddie did right by his unicorn, drug addiction aside

. Plus it seemed like Naz helped him out with a dope connect, before he bounced

.
Chandra better hit up Naz's dad and see if that delivery place is still hiring
Box wasn't ready to retire and got himself a new case to work on taking down the financial advisor. His whole scene with dude in the casino was great. "It's better for you if you say Andrea was your girlfriend."

"You still here, you want me to slap on the handcuffs now, get the fukk out of here

"
If the show does return in some form for another season, it should be with an all new case and cast of characters.
