Yea I'm gonna be looking for @flyry list now...he's my fam, but that's downright baffling that there are 15 better sci-fi films than Alien...
Depends though...what if homie classifies it as horror as a lot of people do then he probably wouldn't have room for it on his list:whoknows:

I feel that but if he decided it leaned more to horror than Sci Fi then maybe that lost some stock in his eyes:whoknows: that's my man so I'm going to vouch for him regardless.

The fact that the setting is outer space and the main antagonist is an extraterrestrial and the main protagonist is an astronaut makes it sci fi to me
