The Culture allowed that album to take 7 years to go platinum despite the coveted 5 mic rating from that culture vulture. Lmao imagine Angela Yee giving an album 5 mics., nikkas would laugh. And she's actually half black. If 5 mics reflected the culture, illmatic would have meant much more. It flopped commercially and on the (non east coast) streets.
