There are quite a few rappers who have been commenting on this for days now

Coli just being The Coli as usual

That's not the point for me.

Rappers have been talking about these issues in their music for years.

So I don't get why seeing them tweet about it gets you all so excited like that's some achievement.

We need these guys to actually put their money up not just talk the talk.

Nss just put up a "We are with you" post and y'all satisfied with that shyt like he did somethin.

Nah b.

These same people have already. And even if I named all the names people would say give more.

These rappers don't owe me or you anything.

Thread is stupid, as is the thread topic.

“Fucc Tha Police” and “Fight The Power” came out 32 years ago.
“Cop Killer” and “Just A Friendly Game Of Baseball” came out 29 years ago.
“We Had To Tear This Mutha Up” came out 28 years ago.
“My Loved One” came out 22 years ago.
“We Started This” came out 21 years ago.
“Look Me In My Eyes” and “If I Was White” came out 20 years ago.

...and chit ain’t changed.

I don’t know what’s left for rappers to say.

Time to stop writing lyrics and maybe start organising.

I would never look for entertainers to contribute to any kind of social movement unless you were genuine, knowledgeable and articulate like Pac or Ali. Most of these mumble mouth rappers are so drugged out and live in a bubble. Lets be honest they not trying to fukk up their money and agitate their cac fanbase. They still want to fukk white hoes and do Coachella.

Most of the rappers listed in the thread for saying something are in their late 30s and 40s. They come from a different era.

The Kendricks and Cole's never really post on social media period.

Y’all too old to be looking for heroes, like your reaction to this situation will change depending on what you’re favorite rapper says. Y’all no different than those stans who make artist devoted twitter pages who hang off every word that artist says. Now if anyone says something you won’t think it’s genuine.

This “You Know The fukkin Vibes” generation isn’t interested in these social causes unless it looks cool, and even then, don’t ask em to do anything significant like donate or march or vote. Only a hashtag shall suffice.
The young generation is getting it in right now and most of the young rappers have posted or spoken out

Norfeast groovin…
Nick fukking Cannon out of all people is on the frontline at these protests doing a lot more than almost any rapper is so salute.

Jigga the rat silent as always, gotta please his white masters like the pathetic puppet he is.

I know Nick’s professor and I’ve met Nick one time myself. We didn’t talk for too long but he seems really sincere which was a trip.
