Hip Hop Vinyls: Does anyone collect?

I've been wanting to get into record collecting for a while but I've put it on hold due to the cost. My goal is to eventually have a DJ set up in my basement but when I saw the cost of the Technics reissues it kind of crushed my dreams

Im rebuilding my crates... I'm been dj over 20 years, when I got serato, I downloaded all my vinyl for serato... I was moving and didnt have room for the 38 crates of music... I kept crates of rare, hard to find, and classics, I had to keep..
I still buy vinyl and still go diggin every other weekends.. On a did earlier this month, I copped a rare version of Bob James Meet Me At the Mardi Gras, I know cats never heard...
