why would a man of integrity and honor want to be a rapper in the entertainment industry?

This is one of the fakest ways to make a living, look how many people drop it out because they generally cant fukk with the people involved.
The whole world is fake.

Black music is still hyper masculine as fukk. Even from females. You ppl live in a bubble with this feminization of black men shyt. 'Fight Club' came out 2 decades ago, the entire movie is centred around emasculated white men trying to regain their masculinity. Feminization has hit the black community late as has feminism, and it hasn't even been hit like how it has hit white & asian ppl.

Even if you right, black music has been watered down a lot.

They say so themselves in interviews. Lil Wayne is their idol.

Kids, especially these days, are weak minded and follow what they favorite rappers do. Most of them didn't even have a father around to school them, so they vlindly follow the habits of strip club, :wrist: inspired dances, and tricking, as well as drug use outside of weed. Wayne himself is broke and his popularity is hanging on to a thread, and that's what the kids love, except they following Future.

I'm talking about the rappers not the kids ...

Young Thug and other rappers are on record saying that Wayne made them rap.

They were trendy and yet represented the common man in hip hop because everyone many people normal looked like them. I wasn't talking about them being afrocentric. Kanye brought that back i.e. the everyday non-gangster approach (Kendrick, Cole etc.) and truthfully he didn't birth the hipsters. Like posters before me said Wayne fathered these hipster rappers.
