Some black women gave up on fighting white supremacy and decided to c00n.

Her views ignore the effects of racist white mens actions and just paint black men as the real bad guy.

Just classify her as a c00n and keep it moving. Dwelling on her and begging her to stop c00ning won’t do much. You gotta shut them down at large.

What we need is to gain more power so we can punish c00ns. That’s the solution.

Replies like this is why there can never be an honest discussion. We have a tendency to write each other off when we don't agree with one another or down play the personal experiences one has gone through. I feel it's pretty hopeless at there being any sort of resolution or understanding between us.

Black men go through experiences that can make us bitter as well. Myself included.

Still it’s no justification to go against the opposite gender like the lady is doing.

Also the lady in his story doesn’t express interest in trying to fight the source of the issue: white supremacy. She more like enjoys that black women are rising in white society and rather secure that place and throw black men away to do that instead of going against white society itself.

Understanding is a two way street and that lady isn’t trying to understand anything based on her words.

But black men DO go against black women and speak ill of them based on their experiences. We see it here often. I stated that both sides hold contempt for each other...and it's actually the same issues just different perspectives.

I think some women that have this view secretly want the approval of a white man, to feel accepted, so the best way is to bash black men in the process to prove they're worthy. Either way to each his own, you shouldn't get offended at something you didn't do by someone you don't want

I never said that those black men don’t exist.
Black men who hate black women are c00ns.

Yet I refuse to look at black men and women as a monolith

This gender war has many ignoring racist whites who are the real people pulling the strings.

You see black men vs black women. I see c00ns vs black people.

One of the most dramatic patterns occurs among black newlyweds: Black men are twice as likely as black women to have a spouse of a different race or ethnicity (24% vs. 12%). This gender gap has been a long-standing one – in 1980, 8% of recently married black men and 3% of their female counterparts were married to someone of a different race or ethnicity.

I have SO much empathy for black people and how our mistreatment (to say the least) by whites has shaped our ideals and mindsets, that I choose not to write most off as c00ns. Again, I think we need better understanding of each other and open minds. Writing people off as c00ns simply because you don't agree with how they choose to handle their personal experience, isn't beneficial. I do get what you're saying, but it's just not how I choose to approach the situation.

Why were you talking to this chatty patty "professor" about your personal beliefs at a "Black men & Education/Careers" conference at your college? :dahell:

and no this isn't "trolling" or anything silly.

She asked me about my stance on finances, and I told her about my schooling, about my entrepreneurial ambitions, and how I wanted to take care of my wife and let her be a housewife because I subscribe to biblical principles.

She asked you something completely on topic in relation to finances and black women earning degrees at higher rates than black men (which is a true stat :manny:) and you went to this "I wanna take care of my woman like the bible says"

Where did you expect this to go? I mean you were at a professional conference, a professor was asking your take on an academic and professional issue, and you offered your stance on marriage. :yeshrug:

You were chopping it up with someone who has accomplished something at a decent level...at a STEM conference, and you could've made some valuable connections...instead :snoop:
