A part of the wizards problem is they don't give players a legacy. Having alumni of the franchise who are acknowledged as great motivates the current players to play for something bigger than themselves. A legacy. I wish john will be able to spend time with the players and offer perspective

I’ll play devil’s advocate. Ted has been better by having a Bullets/Wizards Alumni program. So the OGs from the 1970s glory days are around the organization. And those afterwards as well. Like Jeff Ruland is still a scout.

But besides Wes Unseld and Phil Chenier we haven’t had alum in prominent roles.

I'm liking Bilal's motor...End to end and the jumper is looking good...

Speaking of jumpshoots Tre definitely got GOAT level shooting mechanics :obama:

Y'all free'd up Deni so he could become his best self.

:manny:
Keeping him for another year would have gotten a better trade haul. That 2029 1st from Portland is probably more valuable than Bub Carrington.

Deni might have messed up our draft positioning. And losing the 1st round pick due to the Wall-Westbrook trade is non negotiable. It’s why all these double digit leads being blown this early in the season is a good thing.

That pick cannot convey to New York. They moved down in the lottery in June but getting Tre Johnson was a good prize
