Trump is a moral hazard of the highest degree NOT to prevent from obtaining office.Tbh, I mostly agree with this article.
The key here is this: False Equivalency.
Everybody here agrees (with the possible exception of the OP) that Hillary was a horrible candidate. We can talk about the DNC leaks, the pay-for-access controversies of the Clinton Foundation, and the E E E E E M A I L S :shaqyes: all day, but the conclusion that "Hillary's dirt and Trump's dirt are the same" was a hugely successful deception.
The better choice in 2016 was clear. Though both candidates were bad, I saw no reason to believe that Trump and Clinton were equally bad. Especially for the reasons cited. Black people as a whole are not in the position to withhold votes to obtain what we ask for.
Hillary didn't brag about grabbing Obama by the dikkmake fun of a disabled person
or most importantly, be so insecure and thin-skinned that she lashed out at whoever said bad things about her. Controlling yourself in situations like that are ESSENTIAL to the presidency, and it's the reason why the rest of the world now sees the US as weak.
A leader who pops his mouth off at every opportunity puts America at risk of losing its position at the top. That puts black people in danger more than anything, even more than passing regressive policies or doing nothing. :kanyebp:
Trump is a moral hazard of the highest degree NOT to prevent from obtaining office.
no third party votes
no protest votes
no abstentions.
How come your hypotheticals are so shytty?@4d 6f 6e 65 79 lets say that hypothetically, it was up to you to run bernie or hillary in 2016. and you knew beforehand that hillary would lose
would you choose to run bernie sanders for a possible win? or run hillary with a certain loss![]()
no one mentioned cornel west. read the article. it speaks directly to the Coli. You're overestimating how much influence people like Cornel West has in the black community.
Hillary didn't get the same percentage of AA votes primarily because
1) she wasn't Obama
2) she didn't excite voters enough to get out and vote - anyone involved in politics will tell you that you have to give people a reason to vote beyond simply hatred/distrust of your opponent
3) stupid shyt like campaigning in places like Arizona
4) selecting Tim Kaine as VP (I will never understand that one)
BUT THERE IS LITERALLY NO DIFFERENCE IN DEMOCRATIC AND REPUBLICAN PARTIES NOW....![]()
One party is outright hostile towards black people and the other party gives us lip service and does nothing to help black people thinking they're votes are in the bag by association...
Neither party is good... neither are friends of the black community, but they are not equally bad.

Kamala Harris in dead heat with Trump in 2020 poll, but other Democrats win handily
- Former Vice President Joe Biden defeats Trump 54 percent to 39 percent
- Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders defeats Trump 52 percent to 39 percent
- Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren defeats Trump 49 percent to 42 percent
- New Jersey Senator Cory Booker defeats Trump 45 percent to 40 percent
- California Senator Kamala Harris defeats Trump 41 percent to 40 percent
That's the whole point. This election wasn't about voting for progress it was about voting AGAINST regression.Hillary winning = black progress????

This is such an absurd statement that your next sentence contracts it...
Indifference and outright hostility are NOT the same thing.
Neither party is good... neither are friends of the black community, but they are not equally bad.
C'mon now.
