4: 21 isn't a let down breh
I was born in 94 so I dont remember this dropping. Must have been HUGE though![]()
Honestly to me it kinda was. Don't get me wrong, it was slightly better than "Tical: 0" but not by much. Here's how I rate Meth's Catalog:
Tical - 4.5 MICS (I considered it a Classic though)
Tical 2000 - 4 MICS
Tical 0: The Pequel - 3 MICS
Tical 4:21: 3.5 MICS
Yo can't wait for Crystal Meth or whatever the name of the next album is. But LOL @ "Tical 2000" having 11 skits. I do give him props for some fo the names he got on there like Trump, Chris Rock and Janet Jackson.
Actually... I'm the one being called a liar here.
I made a FACTUAL statement about the general musical tastes of the folks in MY CITY and i get barraged with all these
And you wanna know how it's true that WU has always been a non-factor in this city?
Because you can't show me anything like this...with WU's music being covered like every other relevant artist has got there's done.
Back covering Pac & Snoop
Back covering 3-6 Mafia
I can pull up dozens of these with all the rappers i named...while you'll be able to pull up none for WU.
You know cotdamn well nikkas generally don't listen to WU over here...you just an oddball nikka with eclectic tastes...which is cool i have em too. But don't pretend like the exception is the norm.

Ayy @Tony Muthafu%*in Tubbs you know you fukked up right??
9 Minutes. 26 Seconds. Backyard Band hittin Brooklyn Zoo. And Marygolds hasn't been open that long so this gotta be RECENT which means its been apart of there set for 20 years now...but theres no Wu Tang fans in DC
Now SHUT THE fukk UP. Ya'll be take shyt too far sometimes. Just say YOU weren't a fan...
Brooklyn Zoo and Cream were big on the radio in DC
reactions and everything...95.5 was the first station I heard premier Triumph. I had it on tape, withreactions and everything...
But according to big Tony not only did ya'll not rock with Wu, but you'd get laughed off the block playing those bammas
.
Meth was huge. His singles were fire but most of the people I knew that had tical expected it to be the east coast chronic and were disappointed.
Anybody in here saying Wu wasn't the shyt back then (even in the south) is lying or just trying to be difficult for the sake of arguing.
Bring the pain video had such an impact I remember nikkaz and bytches were literally moving like meth when the song came on at parties and clubs (which stayed on repeat) That song might as well have been called "do the method man" lol
