In the real world sometimes race plays a factor and sometimes it doesn’t. When these dudes are putting together a staff I think they go with who they think will work best for them first and foremost, regardless of race. When a black coach finally gets a chance to lead a team, I think they just go with who they perceive to be the best dude available. Sometimes that’s black coordinators, sometimes it’s not.
