How come HBCUs arent that good at basketball?

I never understand the weird sense of entitlement people create for HBCU's. Like top athletes are doing those schools dirty by not going there.
If you're an athlete with dreams of making it to the big leagues you'd have to be a moron to go to an HBCU. Look at the current makeup of the NBA/NFL. How many of them players come from small schools? Let alone a HBCU.
Dudes don't got time to try and be revolutionaries and change the way things are when million dollar professional contracts are on the line. They don't owe HBCU's anything so it makes no sense to take the risk of attending one.

)basically. i go to an HBCU & i still wouldn't go to one if i was a 5 star recruit. You got to go to whatever school would give you the best chance of being successful. Sadly, it creates a cycle. HBCUs will never be shyt sportswise because they don't have the funding. And they'll never get the funding because they're shyt sportswise. Still...........it would be a thing of beauty if a handful of star recruits decided to attend one of the top black schools.
the coaches are ass, the competition is ass, the facilities are ass etc. how much better could florida a & m really be?

it doesn't help when alumni do donate & the funds aren't allocated correctly. dissuades them from doing it again. our dean made $800,000 last year, president of the hospital made $1.2 million & some members on the board made in excess of $500,000 yet the school had to shut down on spring break because they couldn't foot the electricity bill
