How come Taylor Swift doesn’t have the same mass appeal to the Black community that previous white singers had?

She doesn’t need a thing from the black community.
So you’re the breh at the party that takes everything serious because your favorite pop star is involved. You couldn’t wait to type that out as if I was gonna go “damn, he’s right, she really doesn’t need anything from us” lol

The post wasn’t meant to be smart. I understand when Taylor is involved it’s a no joke type of environment. I hope you’ve been doing good mentally breh, we need all the stan soldiers we can get in this world. Let me know if you need anything.

This is interesting because even Paramore had a decent following in the Black community and they don't make "urban music". Yet you'll be hard pressed to see Black folks from all socioeconomic and national status that fukk with Taylor outside of a handful of songs . The only full Taylor albums I've listened to were 1989 and Midnights and other than that I draw a blank face to the rest of her music.

Idk but she's top 5 of this gen that I know
