That's been their downfall for centuries and continues to be their downfall today. This tribal instinct is why Islam is such an authoritative religion. It's meant to overcome virulent tribal fractiousness. The history of the various Caliphates also tends to go through long periods of anti-intellectualism.

I don't care what Western and Israeli universities you cite.

Arab dominance is only bettered by China throughout history. Don't be foolish. Arabs built many of the first universities and had a keen liking of philosophy. No one is buying your propaganda.

My "propoganda" that descent into tribalism has always been in the background of Arab empires?

Step back and think critically for one second -- why did so many Muslim empires rely on neutral groups of slave-mercenaries to act as soldiers and civil servants? To avoid tribal influence.

I'm not pulling this out of the blue. This is a recurring theme in Arab history.

Thats true of ANY empire during those times.

good question, I'll respond with another question:

how can you tell the difference between a white person and a Jewish person if they were wearing the same exact clothing?
You can look at them and tell for the most part.

Hate on it if you want to but those old testament principles work.

Also, organized crime helped a lot as well. Like most ethnic groups.

Absolutely NOT.

"Any" empire didn't create the Mamluks.

"Any" empire didn't create the Janissary corps.

There have been entire books about the genealogy of slave-soldiers and their influence on Arab history, bro.

You need to quit being so dismissive.

Name a empire and let us evaluate.

That's a completely reductive version of what I said, and you're already moving the goalposts.

My point was not that tribalism did not exist anywhere. It was that Arab society was especially tribal.

Look, I get it. You are an Ashkenazi. You have no empires, culture and no history pre-Holocaust. Just money, stolen land and a book about people whom you are distantly related to. If you live in America or Israel, there is a great irony of you mentioning anti-intellectualism, failing states and tribalism.

Ad hominem.

You realized your argument was going nowhere and

Let me know when you're ready to have a discussion again.

EDIT -- and you know the funny thing? I never actually disparaged any intellectual accomplishment of Arab civilization. All I did was point out a difference between Jewish and Arab culture that explained the sustained level of Jewish economic success.

You're a fukkboy of the highest level.

The history of the various Caliphates also tends to go through long periods of anti-intellectualism.

As if Ashkenazis had a storied history of intellectualism beyond a century or so :mjlol:
