I 1st

at the notion. But then gave it a 2nd thought.
Let's be real (I'll get killed ) n.w.a was basically a very very successful underground rap group. They got very little radio play, and hardly any looks in mainstream media. It's a testament to their greatness that they sold what they sold under those circumstances, but they broke up before they could really become a huge success as what aftermath and death row would later become.
Wu tang clan was a international phenomenon. White kids in the burbs, Asian kids over seas, african teens in south africa, all over the world, people loved Wu tang. They created a cult like following similar to the insane clown posse but bigger. Then they dropped solo classics that also were successful. They were the biggest rap group in the world for at least the span of 10 years. (93-2003) they were synonymous with what hip hop was for that period. They were def a huge deal.
Now of course all the politics played a part plus Dre and cube dropping money to make that movie that Wu tang wouldn't drop, but they def deserve a movie.
