Latino/hispanic classification is dumb to begin with. Why isn't there an anglo classification?

To their credit, a lot of them mean they aren't Black American, not necessarily black in race. But, a lot of them do play that not black as in race bullshyt. A lot of the islands are not given high quality education, especially in history, so I can understand why they don't really know how the world truly is or was.

That's why it's important to me to claim I'm an American, and not African-American because that gives the impression to foreigners that this isn't your land, even though our group helped built this country. The reasons why the U.S.A. is rich is because they didn't have to pay slaves. The reason why it is known for it's entertainment, that the whole world has copied, is because of the slaves influence. You never hear anyone call whites, white-American, they just call them American. They even have the nerves to call a blue eyed, blond haired white person, All American, when in reality, most white people don't have blond hair naturally, and blacks have been here since the beginning of this country, and effected it good, and bad, just like whites did. I'm an American, and black is my race, and my ancestors were African.

real talk we gotta realize we are American and this is our indigenous land despite the racist society we have faced....its cool to identify with Africa and realize that is where our deep ancestry comes from...but the last 400 years, most of us trace our relatives in America...most of us been in America longer than so called white Americans who European ancestors came in the 1800s

I think it comes down to educated vs uneducated, most of the darker Latinos I know that have college educations readily will admit they have black in them, or are black. My girl is Dominican, she has some features that let you know there was mixing going on, but a lot of her predominant features & complexion are clearly black. She identifies with being Afro-Latina, she was born & raised for 13 years in DR but also comes from an upper middle class family where both her parents are educated.

One of my closest friends is Dominican, dark and constantly hating on Sammy Sosa, calls him a sellout and a self hating fakkit.

You have a point. Whenever you hear a man or woman say that they're attracted to Latinos 9 out of 10 times they're talking exclusively about Caucasian Latinos.

I can't agree with that. In the northeast, a lot of white men use the dating a latina, as an excuse for wanting a big booty, black latina. The Italians are really on that shyt. They want a black woman, but they know some of their people would complain so they date a latina,but it's really just a mind tricking thing, because they still look BLACK, they just have a spanish accent. A lot of white men really want to date black women, but they are intimidated thinking they can't match up to black men. I seen it with my own eyes. I notice when they do date black women they date, the skinny ones, but they really want the big titties, big butt, ones also. I think they feel she might think they aren't good in bed being that the black man is supposed to be a mandigo, sex god. This is another reason why I think going for a "spanish" woman is much easier on their mind, they don't have such a high level to match up to. Man, the things people let you know when they are drunk.

It's funny as shyt to me how people can really trick themselves into believing some of the dumbest shyt.
