Don't use any electronics 2 hours before bed. Electronics distracts your brain and prevents your brain from "shutting off" and relaxing for sleep

That means no TV, phone, tablet, laptop, etc

Start there and it would allow you to focus

From there, only listen to audio electronics. Podcasts are the best. Listen to a Podcast while walking. That would increase your focus

It may seems corny but write down what you need to do and come up with a plan of action. Start small but be consistent. 20-30minutes of studying a day for month will get you remarkably far and once you get far enough in a subject you will be able to digest it better and quicker.

I gotta get my Sec+ and CCNA cert this year so I gotta study academically for the first time in like 3 years without a class or instructor. Self study is tough.

I have ADHD as well. Let me give you a pointer. It may work for you, or it may not.

So what I've found is that the reason I have trouble concentrating is because unless it's something I'm already interested in, my brain wants to be doing something else. Anything else. Anything... at all. Doing the dishes, eating a snack, walking around in circles, picking my nose, jacking off for the 4th time today. Literally anything except whatever it is I'm supposed to be doing.

So we have to give our brains something else to do while we're trying to concentrate.

I've found that lofi beats helps with this tremendously. Put this on in the background at medium-low volume. See if it helps. This way, your brain has something else to do (listen to music) but it doesn't require concentration so you get to keep that for the task at hand.

Man I lowkey discovered this exact YouTube channel over the summer and would be listening to it during long ways to and from work.

I believe I’ve forever had undiagnosed Attentive ADHD and is looking to finally work on that fully in the new year

Dawg, this times 1000, I think I'm going to make a vision board for 2022, I want to past Sec+ and CCNA this year also. I coasted through high school and college and this one of the first times I really have to buckle down and study and I lose focus, doubt myself, get distracted study for 1 or 2 days straight then fall off.

Not to mention, I listen to Eric Thomas Video's, Ali Abdaal on Youtube, have a kindle where I have mad productivity books but didn't finish but finished Mile Tyson's autobiography and IceBerg Slim's shyt in like 2 days.:snoop:

Study for Sec+ for 2 days then fall off tremendously, get horny, scroll ig, text bytches, go on hinge, watch tv.

Really be feeling like I'm on the spectrum son.

I need this and that should be the only motivation I need to lift myself out of this shyt and get that Tesla, Fancy crib and all that but struggling to see it through.

Funny thing is I can go to the gym 6 days a week though smh.

I'll never forget I was in college orientation and the dean was like "most of you were valedictorian of your school's and top of the class" me in the middle of the auditorium who passed on social promotion and recommendations :jbhmm:

First year taking gen ed and everyone saying this shyt is easy I took this in high school. Me who's high school passed us cuz we actually went to class and did the bare minimum :to:

5 minutes for distractions. If you allow yourself to have time for youtube, thecoli and any other sites, do it for 5 minutes and then you can begin your task.

Start clock watching with your distractions, it will help tremendously. Plus 5 minutes won't get you in trouble with those more nefarious activities.

Pop some headphones in and lock-in. Try listening to some stuff you’ve never heard as well. Along with breaking down my tasks, and creating deadlines to adhere to, that helps a lot.
