Some of y'all had it much better than me. When I graduated from college, I went back home. Lived with my mom, older sister and her daughter (my niece). A week after I graduated my mom quit her job (because she didn't want to do it anymore after decades

).
I suspect that she expected me to find a good job and her ass would be set. But it Took me a few months to find a permanent job. Meanwhile all the temp jobs I had, all that money went towards paying the bills. I put a little to the side as savings so that I could get my own place. Other than that I was flat broke.
So one day my mom asked for some money (not to pay a bill, but for some ol reckless shyt). I said nah I'm broke I don't have it. She said "you don't have ANYTHING"? I respond well yeah I have money I'm saving so I can find my own place.
My mom EXPLODED! "We're struggling and YOU HAVE A SAVINGS!?" We got in a heat argument afterwards. My mom has never been good with money but at least she's always been employed, you know? But once she quit working she didn't change her spending habits. There was no way I could stay there paying her bills and not having a savings. I took all my shyt and moved in with my friend. Once he's lease was up we got an apartment and I've been good ever since.
My mom never got another job (this was 2012) but she's fine. Till this day I don't understand how as the youngest child, why are you coming to me for money? When I'm trying to get my life together after college. I have 3 older siblings, one 8 years older the other 15. Well established. Ask them nikkas.
Alright rant over. Thanks for reading lol.
