How fast can you run/jog a mile? I just did my first sub-15 minute mile.

It isn’t the standard for the average American in 2025. The average American don’t even exercise :mjlol:

I've been going to the same gym for like 5 years.

Its a couple morbidly obese folks that have been their the whole time as well. they bs thru they workouts and have not progressed at all. one of them comes in and does the elipitical for a long time and thats it. He has not lost a lb of weight in 5 years.

The average american is wholly unserious physically you are correct :mjlol:

Did over 20 in boot and nikkas thought I was trying to go SEAL :mjlol:

No.. just a guy that had done a lot of pullups. Ended partially tearing a bicep though doing something else, so pullups no more

About the same time. My average walk on the treadmill is 4.0 speed so it takes 15/20 mins. Now the second mile is where I range lower or higher depending on the time

I came in at around 200 so yeah, over 20 was a lil crazy to them.

I had just came from trying to play ball though. My brother was a Marine and I could do much more than him. We used to bet on it. Most I ever got was 32

A couple years ago I got it down to under 8 mins, which I’ve never even done a sub 10 min mile in my life, even when I was a high school athlete. Now I’m :flabbynsick: again, so I don’t even know what it is currently

i remember when i first really got into running

i had just grabbed some random suitable shoes out my closet and ran with them.... after i ran them into the ground i went out and bout some running shoes and on the first run i straight shattered my best times !

equipment is very consequential... i aint sayin break the bank... the 200 plus and all that aint even necessary... but get you some designated running shoes and socks if you're committed to this.. they matter

last time i did it on the ground was sub 6;55 minutes

in high school my average was 4-5 depending what year

You legitimately had to be world class in high school to AVERAGE a 4 minute mile.

In high school we always used to try for sub 4 but the closest I came was like 5:40. I recently timed myself because I'm getting back into cardio and I'm at 17 minutes.:flabbynsick:
