It's about half dope. I get nostalgic for it in the sense that it captured preY2K and the QB futuristic sound at the time. Some of it aged well, some didn't.

That's more than half the album of all dope quality cuts. MUCH better than Nastradamus. Big Things is actually a personal favorite of mine, the production was amongst the most varied of any Nas album and Lyrically of course he was supreme. I Am's problem was that it should've remained a double disc and stuck with the original theme.

That's not an exceptional field goal percentage but not horrid either. I've seen people both understate the wack aspects of the album calling it a borderline classic and overstate them as well

i dont fukk wit "big things" but it was 99 and every commercial release that year always had that one fast paced jawn but this one was attrocious.....also this was his coming out as a conscience mc album that ultimately would become his gift and curse to those that would label him hypocrytical for years to come but damm if the boy wasnt spittin jewels......
