How good/bad was Nas' I Am...

back then i thought it was pretty good but not as good as his previous albums. that's pretty much the same way i feel now. some tracks don't hold up to the test of time and of course Big Girl is the obligatory "NY cats can do double time bounce" flow that everyone was trying to do back then but Nas didn't master it until God's Son. but there are CLASSICS on this album, Undying Love Nas Is Like and other songs that range from good to great. solid album, 3.5-4 mics IMO

That track was not missed.

Mel summed it up best when he compared the production to joints like Favor for a Favor as DMX shyt. I was actually surprised looking back at the production credits that Dame Grease didn't produce more. It has that cheap shytty Ruff Ryder sound.
