Mobb Deep fans - nationwide - but let's for the sake of argument say the East.
Pac fans - nationwide, but for the sake of argument - let's say everywhere else.

So who else is left if you exclude people who weren't following the biggest story of the year (Pac vs. Big, east vs. west), Mobb fans and Pac fans?
I can't think of how you could legit be a hip hop fan and miss all of that :jbhmm:
Are you thinking of some group in particular?

But you're not asking if people are aware or not. You're asking why isn't there more praise for this Diss Record.

And it doesn't get that type of praise becuz it's a silent diss record and comparing it to other Diss Records that aren't so "silent" is absurd

Call a "diss" track that doesn't even mention the person your dissing the G.O.A.T., brehs :pachaha:

:pacspit:
Not saying it was the GOAT diss track, but 2nd rd KO is considered an classic diss track and he never said LL name. Matter of fact there are a lot of classic diss track that don't say names.

:rudy: like what?

Are you just gonna start naming random records where a random subliminal was thrown in the mix (which was probably just to bridge a Rap in that bar) ?

Naming names makes the whole country/world scream with you: Fcuk mob deep, fcub biggie and fcuk badboy...:pacspit:

The fact that Biggie was the main target was nothing but luck for the mobb. They got only a stray bullet. If Pac made a whole track about em...mannn :whew:
I feel you,
But you have to remember that the whole feel of the song would of been different. Most likely package would rapped over a different beat. Remember he chose that beat because of the "Get Money" remix, and he didn't fukk P wife.
IMO Against All Odds is a better song than Hit em up

Its a classic track and p got at PAC a few other times too. Between this and in the long run he was coming for his neck. I always felt like he went at him on recognize and realize too. I know he was shot in about November but that part where he's like paralyzed from your feet up now slow your speed...I always felt that was a reference to him being in the wheelchair.

Hell,
For these young muthafukkas Back to Back

Y'all are breezing over the point trying to make this Mobb Deep record bigger & harder than what it really was.

Just call it for what it is. A hardcore rap record. A song about Violence and Bragging about how Tuff they are. No more no less.

"Back To Back" and "Mama Said Knock..." are of the same essence too. "Drop A Gem On Em" ain't no exclusive type of record. It's just another rap record with a subliminal thrown in the mix

Because there isn't one line even close to this:

Rockafeller died of AIDS, that was the end of his chapter
And that's the guy y'all chose to name your company after?
Put it together, I rock hoes, y'all rock fellas
