How is it that women are able to move on so quickly?

Ftr I think it's wise to take a solid break after a big breakup.
Work on yourself and take a really honest look at what went wrong what worked and what didn't and what will you change next go round.
This applies to men and women.
Ummm, I don't know, it doesn't make sense to take a long break unless you're out here actually looking for love. Love itself doesn't make or break relationships, willingness and commitment do. You can love someone and cheat but if you've decided to be committed then you won't.

How many times have you "looked for love" and when and why have you quit? :mjcry:

I see what you're saying. I just think it's a good idea to review what went wrong.
What you want or need to be different, how if at all you contributed to the relationship failing. It's good for the long term. Plus are you actually emotionally settled already?
These things actually effect your likeliness of being willing and commited.
Date or go out if you want sure.

I hate to see someone get hurt further by rushing in
And I hate even more for some poor person who is in the right place get hurt by that someone who was in a rush.

You know?

I've never looked for love, just wanted to be in a relationship. I used to think that entering a relationship should be based on love but now I realize it should grow just like with all other aspects of the relationship. Your best friend didn't start off being your best friend, it grew to that level so why should/would you want to start so deeply in love with your significant other?

How old are you mind, I ask? :lupe:

Thats a pretty mature way of thinking about it. I gotta disagree tho. You gotta go into relationships with a solid foundation of adoration/love for your partner and build from there. Not the movie glamorized version of love. But the actual immense feeling of admiration and care for your partner. If the foundation aint solid from the jump, it aint gonna get stronger over time, only worse.

**disclaimer: this is quack science and entirely anecdotal

Honestly, I think women have a biological imperative to move on faster. Comparatively, speaking women fall off physically way faster than men. Or maybe we, as a society, place more value on a women's beauty than that of men. I think women just want to feel shiny, and new, and desired for as long as possible. Probably not the best long-term strategy but it is what it is.

Love grows, and it's not the end all be all.

I understand what you're saying. I guess if you got hurt in the last relationship then take some time, but if it just didn't work out people need not be afraid to move on to the next and quickly.

Because most women could care less about the intrinsic value of a man.

You're a naturally good person? so what!

How's your social standings? Are other women attracted to you? Yearly income? Material attachments? fashion sense?

Those are things that normally come first on the list. Not you as a person.

A girl could be a waitress at IHOP and have a Jay Z stature nicca fall in love with her.

Simply for her natural beauty & intrinsically good qualities.

Low key, females are more business like in their approach.

It's funny because they're known as the more "right brain" dominant dreamers.

I think shyt's been turned upside down:pachaha:

:old: as shyt

And I don't think you'll ever find what you're looking for IF you base it solely on love. Relationship foundations shouldn't be based soley on love, because again love doesn't mean the person won't cheat or be an a$$hole. You start building based on morals and values. If your shyt aligns, THEN your love grows for the person. Again, it's just like with your friends you didn't just wake up and love them nikkas, they did a series of things OVER TIME that showed you they were some real stand up (moral) people and you began to develop closeness and love for them.
