Don't let it be a Sunday when they're selling plates. Might not make it home until 3 or 4.Until about 130pm
Or when folks stop small talking/gossiping/asking you where you been
When I was a kid I would be in church either all day or we got out ASAP. My pops was a crackhead preacher. If he got lit before church he had to talk to EVERYBODY!! If he didn't get right before church we would dip out during service so he could get straight

Black Baptists will have you there all day. Church be in session for 2 and half, three hours, then break for lunch like it's halftime and then back at it.
Black & white Catholic? Maybe an hour fifteen, hour and a half, depending on the type of mass and if it's a vigil or not.
One Christmas Day Mass was done in under 50 minutes.

Pentecostals...all day and maybe night too
Baptists...at least 2-3 hours
Catholic and Episcopal...an hour max
When I used to go to some of my family's Pentecostal church services, I used to have to prepare like I was training for a marathon. They definitely got their praise on though. God is good all the time...
And all the time, God is good.
ETA: If you can't praise through this entire song then your stamina may not be enough to handle Pentecostal services. You may need to start off at Episocopal or Catholic.

Took the kids to my moms church she said it was gonna be 90 minutes, however it wound up being the pastors anniversary so they gave that nikka presents and had guest speakers and shyt. We was in there 3 and a half hours.

About 1.5-2 hours is the norm for black churches. It be about an hour before the preacher actually starts giving his sermon!
If there is ANY sort of special occasion like an anniversary, women's day, birthday, mens choir, guest preacher, etc....it's gonna go past 2 hours and folks gonna try and talk to you before you leave.

We used to go to the 8am service that had to be out by 9:30 for Sunday school.

In regular church: 2 hours and 30 minutes tops.
Black church: Whenever the fukk they feel like it.
