1-2 hours imo.
Church is not the same now as it was back in the day though. I went a couple months ago and adults were in there on their phones and what not
I still wouldn't wanna be there 2+ hours but at least now you can check IG and shyt

Looking back at how churches use to have people in there all day on sunday PLUS different meetings during the week PLUS special travel events that basically be all day (going to sing at another church)

Man the last time I went. It felt like the pastor eyes were on me the whole 2 hours. Yes 2 hours. That shyt was creepy
I'm glad my mom got tired of going to church by the time I was thirteen. The first reverend we had made sure church was done by two hours. After she moved on the new guy was done when he was done. Somtimes that was two hours, most of the time it was three or more. Couldn't stand it man.

On the other hand I always wished our Haitian church was longer in ny, since it was essentially a 2 hour concert.

Pentecostals...all day and maybe night too
Baptists...at least 2-3 hours
Catholic and Episcopal...an hour max
When I used to go to some of my family's Pentecostal church services, I used to have to prepare like I was training for a marathon. They definitely got their praise on though. God is good all the time...

ETA: If you can't praise through this entire song then your stamina may not be enough to handle Pentecostal services. You may need to start off at Episocopal or Catholic.

Used to not like going to church with Grandma to the AME service. Sometimes they'd be going on so long that it'd be cutting into lunchtime but you can't eat any snacks, you've already digested breakfast and you're hawngry.

Black churches we went to where they had a choir? Mass finna be at least 90 minutes long.

I was dating this woman who was really into the church so I had to go every Sunday. One Sunday the pastor was legit holding us hostage until he got 5 people to go up during the alter call. After his usual cadence he started going on rants, then into songs, then more rants and made it clear he wasn't happy about the tithes and he knows more people out there are ready to give themselves to the lord. After about 25 minutes of this I made up my mind to break up with that woman and go up and answer the alter call because I was ready to go home and these nikkas would NEVER see me again anyway. As I was standing up another woman with 2 toddlers in her arms ran up and I quickly sat back down. Ole girl was excited about me "almost taking the leap" the entire car ride back to my place. I had my tongue deep in that p*ssy that night brehs.
I still broke up with her before that next Sunday.
