the base system runs great .. it basically a ps4pro elite though

I like playstation for the cinematic games and the control set up

own two one for myself and one for my wife who has her own set up ...

i think sharing so much with the ps4 in terms of their first party games for the first four years has hurt the reputation of the system

also their just a lack of AA and license games this generation

everything is either a 300 million dollar monster or a retro game made by 5 people

the pivot to live service for playsation has hurt it because people buy playstation for cinematic story games not COD/ HALO knock offs.

i played a lot of Vahalla and hogwart legacy but both of those are on ps4
i been playing mainly battlefront 2 and fortnite both games i could played on a ps4pro


i think stellar blade and The Callisto Protocol were the only games to take advantage of the ps5 power

also the big games were lacking

I think spider-man 2 was kind of a rushed mess and FF7 Rebirth was so disorganized it felt like a vacation sim - i put 30 hours into the game when does the story come back ?!?!?!

and third parties did a jedi survivor and hogwarts legacy

COD and sports game still get ported to ps4

you can also play fortnite and GTA online

also capcom retro ports were ps4 exclusives for some reason

You can own a ps4 pro and still have a good experience


ps4 has the same number of players almost

11 years after launch, 49M people still use their PS4s, matching the PS5

But PS5 users spend more money and gameplay time on their consoles.

3rd parties have always done that. if It were gen 7, those games would be on consoles and have handheld versions


if you’re bothered by cross-gen you might as well just stop gaming because it exist on every platform now. You can’t demand platform holders input backwards compatbility and get mad when you get cross generation games
