It goes deeper than you can imagine

I searched hip-hop on craigslist one day to see if there were any shows going on in the city and I came across this

This is For Serious Artists Only

I'm a professional songwriter with a worldwide publishing deal, in addition to my worldwide clientele my work has been featured on major label releases by prominent artists, MTV , FOX and in film.

I can do everything from the latest buzzing indie sounds to well-crafted radio friendly singles - I also license my songs to performers and artists who are looking to put together a demo to submit to radio or record labels.

We can build your style from the ground up or elaborate on what you already have. I work with my clients on everything from complete projects to single song concepts.

Investing in your product is what separates the amateurs from the professionals. Using the work of a ghostwriting doesn't make you any less of an artist. In fact, some of the most prominent artists in hip-hop have sought the work of ghost writers at certain points in their career. Maybe it was the song that catapulted them to success.

I've worked with everyone from veteran mixtape artists who're putting out the highest output of work in their city but needed help with a specific concept to creative visionaries looking to create their own style and sound.

My clients are international and carry a range of styles from EDM-rap fusion to gangsta rap, and from socially-conscious rap to commercial. I can do it all, I can replicate the style of any rapper, any style, any era. Below are my special rates for indie artists

So what y'all brehs think about certain songs being handed to another rapper like in the pac/ray luv case ? :jbhmm:
Is it the same as "traditional ghostwriting" for you ? :jbhmm:
This is by far not the only example of this, seems to be a common practice amongst crews to sometimes also share whole songs...

As for QM I think you could hear his frustration in some of his own music but some people are content with that. The ones that really do it like that would rather everybody shut the fukk up about it so they can keep caking

this, id be content if the setup was right

some nikkas just want that fame tho

As somebody who's done some ghost writing my perspective on it is that you can't vie for rap supremacy if you aren't writing your own raps. There is a difference though between working in groups and getting input for songs or even projects you're doing together and essentially being a performance artist.

Rap supremacy is fictional. What do you really get for being a legend in hip-hop?

Nas and K-R-S selling out football stadiums here? I honestly don't know if they are.

Rakim opened for Kreayshawn. :smh:

Artists covering their work? Album of the Year nominations?

WWE at least has its own Hall of Fame and annual large-scale event to showcase their talent/legends. Hip-hop artists go into the rock-and-roll HOF, no?
