I kinda wish we had open registration but AI moderators that would crawl user posts and flag the suspect shyt. That would be the best of both worlds.

Most of those guests aren't lurkers, they're bots. Search engine bots, AI and LLM bots, spy bots, etc. are trolling across the web constantly.


I just went to a forum I used to post on a decade ago. Forum is completely dead now, doesn't get even one post a day....but it says there's 150 guests online at the moment.

That's a forum that only has 250,000 posts all-time.....Coli has 50,000,000 posts all-time. So it stands to reason that the Coli has literally thousands of bots recording content at any moment.

In my humble opinion, I think that the locker room section of the Coli should be completely private and off limits to lurkers/outsiders. They shouldn’t see TLR or have access to it. Let TLR only be available to the registered members of the site.
