IVE BEEN SAYING THIS SINCE THE TRADE.
i just watched the highlights from those playoffs.
the eagles were a bad call away from possibly going to another super bowl.
people forget that the game basically ended on a blown defensive pass interference call when kevin curtis was basically tackled while going for the reception, which wouldve been an easy 1st down.

Mcnabb and Kelly's numbers were pretty comparable. Let's put it this way, nobody has yet gone to 4 Straight Super Bowls. And in that era The Eagles were the only team NFC or AFC to go to 4 Straight Conference Titles. They went 1-3 but got the Super Bowl and Lost to a Dynasty similar to the Bills losing to the Dallas Dynasty twice. Then once to the Giants and Redskins but they won 4 AFC Championship Games IN A ROW which is amazing in itself.
Even though Donovan's Eagles didn't win all their NFC Title games. It was an amazing feet that they were right at Super Bowl's Door 4 Time in a Row. Then 3 years later went again to make it 5 Times. No NFC Team in 50 Years ever did that but Eagles and Dallas. And Donovan was the QB for all it. Sure in sports a lot of people career are judged on if they won a title or not. But there are ones that didn't make it that are still great.

If Andy goes to Arizona. Could there be new life for Mcnabb? He didn't play this year because he felt he shouldn't be a backup. But with Andy by his side, maybe he would take a different role. Kolb should not be the starter if Arizona wants to have a chance. Mcnabb lives less than 20 miles from the Arizona HQ. I think Andy will end up in Arizona and Mcnabb could possibly be signed to the team.
Also for the Eagles fans again saying the Trade didn't have an effect. How can you look at this team now and say it didn't. We just didn't have the strongest stability at QB with Vick cause we didn't have the proper line and other components. Losing Mcnabb has set us back for several years. This is something Eagles fans haven't had to experience this decade. The Eagles never had back to back losing Seasons under Andy and Donovan. If they go with Foles and he doesn't work out or the coach doesn't work out. It could take years to find what we had in Reid and Mcnabb. You never know what can happen. The Stability we had under Andy and Donovan will now get the respect it deserves. Under Mcnabb, the Eagles only had 2 Losing seasons out of 11. Think about that. Playoffs in 8 of them.
Yes T.O. Deserved the Money but there is a time and a place. And he handled himself very unprofessional in the whole ordeal. Throwing his QB under the bus, talking dirty about the team, doing sit ups in his driveway like a damn child. T.O. was a mess. Also Donovan took the Eagles to the Super Bowl without him in the playoffs.
I'm not saying him and Donovan didn't make a great team cause they did. Had they played 5 or 6 years they could have put up some serious numbers together. It was sad it didn't work out in the end but it was T.O. fault more than Donovan. T.O. better be happy he even was on a team like the Eagles cause that was his taste of playing in the Super Bowl in his Great Career cause it wasn't happening in San Fran or Dallas with those other teams he was on.

Owens can't be excused for his actions like that. He alienated a great deal of the team because of what he did during that training camp after the Super Bowl. You can't hold out for a new deal 12 months after you just signed a 7 year deal. That's crazy. Donovan made the right move keeping his mouth shut.
And firing Andy after 3 NFCCG appearances? LOL, you're delusional dude.
While I don't approve of racists trying to get at Howard, Howard is kinda overrated though. He strikes out too much.
