This keeps happening because straight black men were dumb enough to pretend these people don’t exist, now it’s only gonna get worse until mfs actually get on code like everyone else.

:what:

When did Black men ever pretend like other groups didn't exist?

Why the fukk would we be obligated to fight for others who were not being lynched, denied voting rights, imprisoned and locked out of decent jobs to provide for their families?

Black men barely had rights ourselves during those times! What is so wrong with getting shyt right for our people first?

Yeah, let’s just totally overlook the fact that, you know, he was a southern baptist minister, you know, whose beliefs were influenced by the Bible, you know, that talks about an order to way things are supposed to be, that order being in which men lead.

Yeah let’s totally overlook the fact that, you know, they wanted him to spearhead women’s and queer right before, you know, the actual goddamn women’s and queer rights movements. :what:

These people are insufferable.

And y’all know they got a biopic off Rustin coming out. I know one of the actors in the movie. Y’all already know it’s in line for an Oscar before it’s even finished.

Maybe you shouldn't do hero worship and have sacred things that can't be criticized:yeshrug:

Their critiques were out of place.

No one said MLK is perfect but to say he is flawed because he didn't fight for women's rights, gay rights, immigrant rights, insert marginalized group du jour rights while he was actually fighting for Black American rights, fighting Capitalism and militarism/colonialism is aburd.

These jokers are agents. MLK talked about black folks getting equal rights. To the weirdos out there that means all black people (straight, gay, male, female, boy and girl).

Second wasn't no trans folks back then. The first open transsexual surgery wasn't until 1968. Though it was done in the 50s and one specific doctor was doing it in the US in private.

Criticizing MLK for not speaking on black gay and transsexual rights in the 50s and 60s. Is like traveling to the year 2150 and asking why the BLM movement in the year 2020 didn't talk about the rights of white transracials who were living as black people in 2020...:mjlol::russ::lolbron:

These bums like Patrice are hustlers. MLK fought for black folks rights so that meant he fought for the rights of black men, black children, black women, black gays, black foreigners.

Its not like he was like hey American government give us black American males equal rights. But let them black women like my wife and the women of the movement, let them black foreigners like Harry Belafonte / Stockley Carmichael and them Gay black folks like Bayard Rustin / Langston Huges / James Baldwin continue to be second class citizens.

These hustling scamming bums being dishonest to the movement.

They’re foot soldiers matching from the left flank of white supremacy, deployed under the flag of liberalism and tasked with diluting a progressive agenda that aids black America.

“Intersectionality,” “people of color,” “patriarchy,” and similarly vague terminology employed by our “allies” are code words for “we’re progressive in everything but doing something specifically to address the systemic hardship suffered by black Americans.”

That's really what it is. Nothing more nothing less.

Just a bunch of queer freaks that are horny all the time and get off on talking about their sexual life in the public.

yup.

I talked about something similar to a friend, and real talk what distinguishes/identifies someone as homosexual aside from the actual sex acts that are a clear indicator that they aren’t heterosexual.

It’s not like being a hard worker, being a great surgeon or impeccable driving skills are all hallmarks of homosexuality. The bare bones nature of it is something in their head says that it’s cool to fukk on someone of the same sex.

Because you can hide being gay like the flick of a switch, can you hide being black or being a woman? Of course not. You can visually identify someone as black; you can biologically identify someone by gender.

There’s no deep dive molecules test that someone administers and then says “ahhhh I knew it! Classic homosexual! Open and shut case, Johnson”

And if my wrong, I want it to be explained to me. Outside of sexual desires and acts, what are the distinguishing aspect of homosexuality?

Malcolm called Black women the least respected, most neglected, and unprotected people in the country. He was also close friends with James Baldwin, yet they still consider him problematic.

The Black Panthers had women in positions of leadership. Huey called homosexuals the most oppressed people in society in his time :dame: They still consider the Panthers to be problematic, though.

I've even seen people claim that BLM is too focused on straight Black men. This is the same BLM with all lesbian Black women as founders who funnel money raised on the murders of those straight Black men into transgender organizations.

bell hooks was a saint, though :unimpressed:
