Also, whoever said white people don't care about that shyt as much as black folks is correct. Sadly it's for the wrong reasons that is the case because their expectations of black hair is really simplistic and stereotypical. It really has to be noticeable for them to even care, if they do care about that. Basically, if you got on a call looking like Buckwheat then they will say something. Not to mention their usual prejudice views on a lot of black hair styles like braids. That is another issue. But in your case, white folks are not going to notice, on a zoom call, that you're not lined up. Only black folks are intune with that shyt. White people don't even understand why we brush our hair when it's short.
