They only promote brehs when there is a mass hiring they need multiple positions. If the position you were seeking leads to management in the future they will block you but they will still promote those Africans tho so they can say they are diverse but no love for ADOS men tho
feel free to inbox me man. i was in your position about 8 months ago. But guess what, eventually a similar role at a much higher caliber firm opened up...i applied and i got it after an extensive process. never give up bro. if you know you killed it and are capable of doing that job, best believe an opportunity will open up and you will seize it. just beware that the opp might even be external. keep on open mind and dont give up bro

Happens I remember 3 years ago I applied for a internal job big promotion, big salary bump I would have been way up there. Instead the hiring person at the time hired externally this other dude, I felt 
. 3 years later still in the same organization and I got that exact same job that 3 years ago they hired externally, except a bigger title, bigger salary than it was and that old person i would have reported to is no longer there.

The job hunt is demoralizing. I've had the same job for the last 6 years and need to leave, but, I remember the BS
I had to live with my Dad. He was on my ass 24/7--didn't even want me to visit my cousin (as if I couldn't get a phonecall from the job from there).
I feel for you. But, it'll be worth it.
Yup. Especially when it becomes months, then years. You get tired, not confident, robotic, you think it’s you, when there are so many other factors outside of you.

“More experience” bullshyt. A lot of cacs don’t have any experience and they can get the job. God forbid you don’t have any experience, like you can’t learn?
Some cacs are groomed into these Positions, they will get all the help and Support to succeed in that position
