Our black althletes need to go to our own colleges. We are giving these white colleges all these damn dollars when we werent even allowed there or play for years.

Why would you say that? Kids want to be on TV, playing for BCS conferences gives them exposure. If Kansas State which was considered the worst team in D1 in the country for decades could improve, why can't they? We need to stop setting low standards for ourselves. Would you rather play for Kansas State or Howard?

Stanford - 15k
FAMU - 13k
Howard - 11k

It can be done and doing so would also increase enrollment at those schools because they can higher more teachers and house more students with it. University of Kansas sucks at football, but they are not leaving the Big XII anytime soon because of the $$$.

We need to stop having this defeatist attitude as a people if we are going to aspire to do more.

Should we also stop going to malls and other stores and restaurants b/c we werent allowed to go there for so many years? And while we're giving the white college dollars, they're giving us TV time, exposure to NFL teams, world class training facilities, education.

You know how many years it would take for what ur saying to make any difference? If a bunch of good black atletes went to blacks colleges, it would take 5-6 years for anything to happen in terms of ESPN/FOX, etc beginning to show any real coverage of black schools....whos gonna play with their potential NFL career like that?

I wouldn't. The next generation of blacks aren't gonna give a damn about you just like we dont give a damn about it now.

Yeah, that shyt was fukked up . I was down there eight years ago and Ole Miss is still the confederate school compared to Mississippi State. I have fam that went to State and the differences between the schools are like night and day.
