I think you're the one who don't understand, which is the reason why democrats are losing the majority in the congress since 2010 and will lose more if they keep taking this path. People rejected Obama's liberals policies, this country is still very conservative and many groups in this country don't view liberals and big governement policies as good. That's why Clinton was more conservative in her approach. The democrats need to form a coalition to win the white house and the congress, but right now many of their policies and people who represented them are rejected by a large portion of the country. Pelosi, Bernie, Ellison, Brazile, Wasserman Schultz need to go because they're toxic for the party. Like it or not, they need the white vote, and white people are not feeling this leadership team and their ideas.

All you said is on point.

Joy Reid had a great post about it on Twitter saying exactly what you said

So you both basically are saying the same thing. I think the Dems will say they have Blacks in the bag already, I know they always say that but now even more they will say this and go extra hard for the blue collar working class white voters, but with a side of conservatism.

Ive said before that whoever they find as their nominee will be someone similar to Trump in the same aspect of being able to give wild rallies to get a crowd hyped up. Michael Moore who has been on point this whole election said this the other day:

"Democrats need to start running people who are inspiring," he said. "The Republicans, they run Ronald Regan, they run [Arnold] Schwarzenegger. Why aren't we running Tom Hanks or Oprah? I don't say that as a joke. I'm really serious. Why don't we run people who are beloved by the American people?"

Now he is using arbitrary names but he has a point...

This counterpart to Trump the Democrats will nominate I think must have similar characteristics as Trump. I still think Trump wins reelection because personally I think he economy will stay good under him, I think where his policies will be terrible are with social issues when he has national stop and frisk against blacks, mass surveillance in muslim neighborhoods, cutting funding for section 8,etc. But I think as long as the economy is good, white america will will reelect him simply because they are not on the receiving end of what the disenfranchised groups will go through. ..

But anyway, I"m thinking about Michael Moore's point and trying to think if there is anyone that fits that. Obviously it would have to be a white male. Maybe we have a situation where just like with Trump, its a Republican who switches to a Democrat, the complete reverse with Trump. I want to say it will be an "unknown" establishment person but Democrats should learn their lesson from this election. I can see an anti-establishment candidate but someone who is different than Bernie and not as "socialist".

man this is hard...i imagine it must be hard for the democrats to figure it out too...

clintons are done
bernie is too old
barack cant run again
biden is too old and been around too long. last chance was in 2016
michelle would never be elected by america. they would never let a black woman run the country
booker needs a wife

Doesn't matter, the average joe don't know the difference, socialism equal USSR for most americans.
Ehhh....if you wanna say most Americans are uneducated then I guess that's true. Don't think there's any facts that socialism=USSR to Americans, but most DO view it unfavorably
If you said so:sas1: but good luck trying to sell that to your fellow americans
It's not hard to sell. The problem is that nobody wants to do research to see whether the things they know to be true are actually true

The same polls who said Clinton would've win:mjlol:thank you for proving my point
They were the same polls that said Clinton would win against Bernie...and she did. Don't act like you have a clear understanding as to why the polls failed in this election. I said months ago that running Clinton against Trump could prove to be an issue based on those same polls.
