They want to elect a muslim as DNC chairman who hate Israel and said the party wasn't socialist enough.:mjlol:

The democrats already lost If this happen

2018 - The white votes for republicans will increase and democrats will lose more seats, and they'll lose Minnesota and NH.

2020 - Trump will win with more than 50% of the popular vote.

I think the centrist democrats need to retake the control of this party, otherwise they're doomed.
He won't be selected

Honestly The democrats need a younger bernie sanders that doesn't refer to themselves as a socialist.

Hilary won the primaries off of familiarity, plus we all know how americans feel about the big bad "s" word :hubie:

Stop to be in denial, this country is too capitalist to let a socialist in the white house. The republicans would have painted Bernie as a reincarnation of Stalin. There's a large portions of blue democrats in the party, probably a third of voters are conservative and pro capitalist.
heres the thing, normally i would agree with you. but being that his opponent was trump, i really think bernie takes this election :yeshrug:talks about how these banking cocksuckers are fukkin us over. ending the war on drugs, etc. he loses NONE of hillarys voters if his opponent is trump, while gaining those who stayed home

i mean his message would have rang thru to americans. the fact is that he was the only honest one in the race, and i truly think they would have seen it. in the face of this automation and fukkin income inequality, this country just might need a nice dose of socialism

and heres the other thing: the republicans would have CHECKED bernies taxes and shyt :snoop: its like everyone thinks that we were gonna give bernie or trump dictator powers if they were elected.i didnt even agree with him to that extent, i just liked his direction

The same polls who said Clinton would've win:mjlol:thank you for proving my point

Stop being an idiot man. I see why your rep is negative.

Bernie was destroying Trump in the early polls. Clinton was barely ahead of Trump.

And then various scandals about Hilary kept being leaked to the media.

i will never forgive hillary clinton for getting in the way of bernie sanders' nomination for this election. it was a populist election, they had to run an outsider, and they ran the definition of an insider

anyone who voted for hillary in the dem primary is a huge fakkit. fukk you

All you said is on point.

Joy Reid had a great post about it on Twitter saying exactly what you said

So you both basically are saying the same thing. I think the Dems will say they have Blacks in the bag already, I know they always say that but now even more they will say this and go extra hard for the blue collar working class white voters, but with a side of conservatism.

Ive said before that whoever they find as their nominee will be someone similar to Trump in the same aspect of being able to give wild rallies to get a crowd hyped up. Michael Moore who has been on point this whole election said this the other day:

"Democrats need to start running people who are inspiring," he said. "The Republicans, they run Ronald Regan, they run [Arnold] Schwarzenegger. Why aren't we running Tom Hanks or Oprah? I don't say that as a joke. I'm really serious. Why don't we run people who are beloved by the American people?"

Now he is using arbitrary names but he has a point...

This counterpart to Trump the Democrats will nominate I think must have similar characteristics as Trump. I still think Trump wins reelection because personally I think he economy will stay good under him, I think where his policies will be terrible are with social issues when he has national stop and frisk against blacks, mass surveillance in muslim neighborhoods, cutting funding for section 8,etc. But I think as long as the economy is good, white america will will reelect him simply because they are not on the receiving end of what the disenfranchised groups will go through. ..

But anyway, I"m thinking about Michael Moore's point and trying to think if there is anyone that fits that. Obviously it would have to be a white male. Maybe we have a situation where just like with Trump, its a Republican who switches to a Democrat, the complete reverse with Trump. I want to say it will be an "unknown" establishment person but Democrats should learn their lesson from this election. I can see an anti-establishment candidate but someone who is different than Bernie and not as "socialist".

man this is hard...i imagine it must be hard for the democrats to figure it out too...

clintons are done
bernie is too old
barack cant run again
biden is too old and been around too long. last chance was in 2016
michelle would never be elected by america. they would never let a black woman run the country
booker needs a wife

They should run Mark Cuban.

Or Orpah. Oprah could win! No doubt about that!

The democrats should become even more centrist? is that even possible?

The agenda of this election was clear: People want change

It's why they elected Obama and it's why they elected Trumps

The dems literally put out the face of the establishment in Hillary Clinton - the ONLY way to go for the democrats now is to the Left.
