Remember just back in the day BIG MEN where taught NEVER to dribble the ball or bring it down full court and don’t shoot nothing outside of 8-10ft range.

Now big men are taking it coast to coast, crossing cats up and shooting from long range

Cartwright, Manute Bol, Shremf, Divac, and a bit of other men ain’t starting in this era, yet alone getting burn

The neccessary skills for the game has change, so therefore for this style of play these guys are better than the guys before them

Detlef was fine handling the ball, a good shooter and had several 40% 3 point shooting seasons, and a 50%
Vlade ran the court with MAGIC JOHNSON, was a good shooter, and elite passing big man

That's actually false. If Jesse ran on the same track and used modern equipment, he'd be just under a two-tenths of a second behind Usain Bolt best ever time. Jesse ran on cinder wood. If Eulace Peacock never injured his hamstring, we would have never heard of Owen. Peacock broke 10 on cinder wood and would smoke Bolt if he were running today.

A dirt, not a cinder surface, added over a sec to this guys time. From 9.97 to 11. Add another .5 to .7 for a cinder surface.
