And yeah...I know plenty, I used to build pcs all the time, for fun and for work.

If it's your job or even your hobby, then keep doing what you are doing. But for everyone else, no one wants to spend all that extra time and effort on keeping up a computer rather than actually working on it.

the average person doesn't know how to do that or even take the time to do that.

But I really have a hard time believing that your PCs are running better than the MACs (given they came out the same year,etc.)

but even if that IS the case, you are in the very very large MINORITY when it comes to computers.

if you dont see this then you really have a clear bias

Apple has had so many issues with MacBooks it is ridiculous. You can run Windows 10 on 10 year old hardware...you cannot do that on a Mac with OS X. What's even crazier? Windows 10 is better than Yosemite...I mean just wrap your head around that for a second.

It doesn't matter if the housing is made out of platinum if it doesn't have enough cooling to support what is inside. That is one of the many issues with MacBooks over the past few years that I have had come to me for repair.

naw, in general Macs ARE built better than PC. I deal with PC's all day everyday laptops and desktops. everything right from basic cheap shyt to $10,000+ laptops

I am NOT gonna sit here and say I've never experienced or seen problems with macs at all cuz that wold be a lie. They are not perfect. BUT they ARE far more reliable and last much longer. OSX is a far more reliable and stable OS as well.

We can nit pick either one all day. Both have positives and both have negatives. IMO it all comes down to preference and requirement because unlike what most ppl would like to claim the price is alot more comparable to each other when you consider all the factors.

There is a reason why I still dudes rocking 5-6 year old macbooks and everyone with a 2-3 year old laptop(windows) is either looking to upgrade or complain all day about how its laggy and can't keep up anymore.

It's about having the resolution and screen size to be more productive.

Editing full 4k video and still be able to see all your tools in final cut or premiere,etc for example

I don't care how small it is. I have good eyesight. I just like being able to cram hella pixels on the small screen. 13" MBP screen has damn near comparable resolution to a 1080p television that's 50".
