To me bringing my kids up is more important than pride over something that happened in the past and the woman is unbelievable sorry for.

She is more or less my servant now. Does anything for me. I have always been very close to my kids. They see what my ex has been through to "keep" me. They see that she treats me with 100% real respect.

What you guys don't seem to get is that I've taken the tough choice. Broken a cycle so my children won't make the same choices.

Being a man isn't about talking crap and telling folk they are betas. It's about delivering on stuff. Keeping a family together. Making hard choices.

I have a good life. Do you get that? I earn a lot of money. My ex wife adores me. My kids love me. I have a great house.

I can look any man in the eye and tell him that. I didn't cut and run. I won't have kids by different women and my children won't think that's normal.

My family have done everything from visiting Disneyland 5 times to stroking whales, to swimming with dolphins and giant turtles, seeing Israel; Egypt; the African Jungle; Paris; sailing, kayaking; owning a pony. We keep chickens and ducks. Sometimes get snowed in. Build snowmen. Watch movies together.

They have material stuff, great lives, a mother that loves them. No neighbours. A lifestyle that is the envy of many people - whatever their colour.

Finally, they have a father that is always there for them. That doesn't live somewhere else and visits for the weekend or whenever their skank mother can fit things in because the court system hates men.

You may all think your lives are great, but maybe your priorities are different from mine.

I aint even read this entire thread and Im late... but all your traveling with ya kids and owning a pony shyt dont mean jack. If they grow up, and at any time PUT 2 x 2 together and find your story on their smartphones or tablet or computer.

You failed at manhood. Grow a pair. If you want a servant at home and you make good money hire a maid / nanny.

really? a man living at the mercy of a woman? a man letting a woman dictate the terms he lives on?

If tomorrow that woman decides she's out and walks away the court is gonna give her those kids and he'll be in the situation he's trying to avoid. say she meets some other guy and decides its time to move on. dude is powerless to stop that.

living in the same house with a woman like that is a short sighted temporary solution and is only delaying the inevitable. at some point it's all gonna come crashing down and really he's powerless to stop it.

Look, you might be right but I came here to try to give an insight into the real story behind what you read. I don't have all the answers but I am in a far better place than 2 years ago.

One of the "kickers" has been that she wouldn't ever go on the pill for me and I ended up having the snip. For him, she went straight on the pill and ended up having contraceptive injections. She has always been ultra-paranoid about HIV and other STDs so this was all the more shocking.

There are lots of things about her relationship with him that she did for him would not do for me in our 24 years together; some sexual, some not.

Who knows? One thing I learned is that I don't know myself and you don't know how you'll react until you're in the situation.

If he truly has the bytch under control, then i see no problem with him staying with her, assuming she is truly reformed. However, the fact that she has tried to kill herself and him is VERY disturbing and portends the likely very disastrous end if this relationship is allowed to continue. Again, i work in an Emergency room and have seen numerous women attempt to kill themselves and/or others as well as men who have beat the shyt out of their wives and ended up locked up. Either way, the couple loses. Staying is a dysfuntional relationship is perhaps one of the most dangerous/dumbest things a man can do IMHO. And since the judicial system loves women, (especially white women) there is a good chance this woman could one day snap and kill @Ben De Toy and his kids over some emotional bullshyt and not do a day in jail. Hopefully this guy has seriously evaluated all of the potential outcomes of this choice he made...
