I don't disagree with you one bit. Hell that's 95% of the reason I stopped going to church.:lolbron:
But i'm not gonna let that affect my relationship with God. I just do my own thing.

Beautiful. But what is your basis for the relationship with God? Many still picture a white man white robe white beard very Santa clause like:ohhh:

And it's sad, I'm not saying you but many black women will measure a black mans quality or integrity up against this white mans religion, that truth be told more "minorities" adhear to it than they do:sas2:

But I personally try to respect everyone's beliefs but feel some kind of way when others try to impose their fairy tales upon you. And a lot haven't done the research find the origins of who wrote those books? When did they write them? Who chose what books when in the bible:sas2: why did they leave out the others it's crazy I stopped trying to save people. Ignorance is bliss:blessed:

Neat way to get the coli to shyt on Christianity for a thread. :russ:
Nope. It's a thread to latch the losers unto another thread where a man is pretending to be a woman.

Hopefully you unlearn what you've been taught before you reach an age where there's some kind of regret.

Christianity is a white made religion, any black man/woman who are christian are c00ns and don't know their history. This country was built on genocide, slavery, oppression, inequality and others misdeeds supported by christianity, and there are still black people who believe this country is blessed by some sort of god. I was forced to go to church during my young age, but i never believed in these fairy tales, and i'm not vocal about it because my community is too frightened by the truth. When you believe in fairy tales, you stopped looking for the truth, and when you stop looking for the truth, there's no progress at all. The black community hate black atheists more than they hate the people who persecute them for more than 400 years, that's the reason why atheists in our community keep quiet, there's no debate and progress in our community, its a waste of time.
:francis: The vast majority of humanity's greatest scientific innovations were done within religiously centred societies and by religious individuals. The Christian Church, in fact, patronized many of history's most influential philosophers and scientists, not to mention the immense scientific debt we owe to ancient Islamic scholars. There is nothing inherently incompatible between science and religion. The conflict thesis is generally considered to be antiquated by most modern academics.

My father from the time I was a child never allowed us to believe in no white Jesus.

He taught us the history of our heritage and broke down how Christianity was used as a tool to subjugate our people and keep us enslaved.

Probably the best cinematic portrayal of the evils of Christianity is in the movie Sankofa, which my father first showed me when I was 10.

That movie was really all I needed to see to know that the very concept of Christianity is compete and utter bullshyt.

The Bible is nothing more than Aesop's Fables with humans..

"And where the religion of every other people on earth taught its believers of a God with whom they could identify, a God who at least looked like one of their own kind, the slave master injected his Christian religion into this "Negro". This "Negro" was taught to worship an alien God having the same blond hair, pale skin, and blue eyes as the slavemaster.

This religion taught the "Negro" that black was a curse. It taught him to hate everything black, including himself. It taught him that everything white was good, to be admired, respected and loved. It brainwashes this "Negro" to think he was superior if his complexion showed more of the white pollution of the slavemaster. This white man's Christian religion further deceived and brainwashed this "Negro" to always turn the other cheek, and grin, and scrape, and bow, and be humble, and to sing, and to pray, and to take whatever was dished out by the devilish white man; and to look for his pie in the sky, and for his heaven in the hereafter, while right here on this earth the slave-master white man enjoyed his heaven."
