I think it's time that we admit the truth about the Chappelle Show

Some episodes were definitely c00nery some were just satire that actually highlights ignorance sent toward black people.

The black white supremacist actually makes fun of how ridiculous white supremacist can be.
The Real World episode showed how reality shows kinda put black people in an extreme situation which makes the black person look like the crazy ones.
The court episode was good because it shows the way black and white people are treated completed different in the judicial system

There were a bunch of episodes that were just jokes though, no c00nery involved so overall I ain't that mad at the show.

The Reparations episode was funny to me but it was extreme c00nery.

Well I fukked with the show too and think Chappelle is a comedic genius. I'm not afraid to admit the same thing Dave himself will admit to and when he realized this he shut the shyt down. I went to a majority white college during the time Chappelle had just started airing and I remember being the only black dude in class hearing people laugh about some of the skits like "things black people like" and the "slavery reparations" skits. shyt was mad uncomfortable.

It's funny though because these same people so outraged in here would call Tyler Perry a c00n in a second and say he makes us look bad. Why is that though? You may not like the urban/black based topics but Tyler Perry has had successful black people in plenty of his movies. Just an observation though.

Can blacks only laugh at black people jokes? Oh sensitive as nikkas in here. but but but whitey was laughing. EVERYONE I know no matter the race laughed at the Chappelle show in its entirety and not just the the skits about black people.

And "c00n" needs to be banned from this forum until everyone is educated on just what it means.

Man shut the fukk up. As a black person, the shyt is open for discussion. I myself said the shyt was funny you dumb muthafukka. Do you know that DAVE HIMSELF quit the show and left 50 million dollars when he realized himself what I am saying?? You even black dude? Don't question my ethnicity and what I feel about my race. I'm sure you are white though because ya'll be the main ones getting offended if anything but praise is given to Chappelle.

I grew up in the deep south and have busted white boys in their fukking face for saying some slick shyt to me. You mad because I pointed out the obvious about the Chappelle show? And I control my own perception by being a college graduate, having a good job, and everything else I do so I could give a fukk. The show is what it is and I didn't protest it or encourage anyone to stop watching it but it doesn't matter who was watching it, white black, PR's Mexicans etc, the show had some bad stereotypes in there that were sometimes cringe worthy. Stop trying to act like I wanted to start a revolt and picket Comedy Central for the shyt because it isn't that serious. And I think you're either white or the type of nikka who only fukks with white girls because of how angry you came in this thread. Ol why do you care if something puts blacks in a bad light. Geez, I don't know maybe because I'm black and it is a point of discussion in our community.
